Traffic ground to a halt on a stretch of northwest Edmonton’s Anthony Henday Drive Thursday evening after a motorcycle was involved in a collision near 127 Street.
Emergency crews were alerted just after 6:24 p.m.
By 7:07 p.m., police had labelled the incident serious and shut down the westbound lanes at Campbell Road.
One person was transported to hospital.
Those lanes stayed closed until 8:42 p.m., when the highway reopened.
EPS have released no further information about the crash.
