EDMONTON – Hundreds of young entrepreneurs are looking to turn lemonade into support for the Children’s’ Stollery Hospital Foundation. With more than 700 stands registered across Alberta, Simply Supper’s 13th annual Lemonade Stand Day takes place August 30, giving kids a chance to learn business skills for NICView cameras to help hospital families stay connected with their babies.
Monita Chapman, Chair of the Lemonade Stand Day spoke with the Raven about the Kit pick-up Day at Bonnie Doon Mall, and this year’s “Making Memories” theme, hoping children can create lasting memories while making a difference in their communities.

Chapman calls it “lemon love,” saying the children embody the community’s support for the Stollery Children’s Hospital by turning a few simple ingredients into lemonade and a meaningful contribution.
