Fort Heritage Precinct ready to host haunted house on the weekend

The Fort Heritage Precinct in Fort Saskatchewan will host its annual haunted house on October 16 and 17 from 7 to 9 p.m.

This year’s event, themed Deadwood: Exhibit 13, is presented in partnership with the Youth Action Committee and the Fort Saskatchewan Family and Community Support Services (FCSS).

Kristi Wahl, Youth and Family Coordinator with FCSS, says the haunted house is designed to scare visitors, with a recommended age of 14 and up.

Wahl explained that the event has been running for about 10 years, and organizers say this year’s theme will feature hidden exhibits to add to the experience.
