The path to the 2027 Calgary Stampede just got a whole lot louder.
Grammy award winning Greta Van Fleet will storm the Scotiabank Saddledome on Thursday, July 8, 2027, delivering their high-energy live performance as part of the Stampede Concert Series.
“This is just the beginning,” said Meghan Kivisto, Vice-President of Sales, Marketing & Programming at the Calgary Stampede. “As the first major concert announcement for Stampede 2027, we’re excited to kick off the journey to next year’s celebration.
The run promotes Palace for the People, Greta Van Fleet’s fourth studio album, set for release on Friday, October 9.
Fans can look forward to a powerful set mixing the new material with the band’s established rock anthems.
Known for their raw sound and soaring vocal range, they broke through worldwide when debut single “Highway Tune” held the top spot for four straight weeks. Since then they’ve sold more than 3.5 million records, appeared on Saturday Night Live, and took home the 2019 Grammy for Best Rock Album with From the Fires.
Tickets for the Stampede show go on sale to the general public Thursday, October 15 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
According to the Stampede, this concert is only the opening act. Rodeo and Evening Show tickets go on sale Monday.
