Syncrude says it is continuing to monitor intermittent odours at its Mildred Lake site as planned maintenance work continues.
The site north of Fort McMurray, says some of the maintenance activity may have contributed to the odours, which have lasted longer than typically expected.
Suncor says air monitoring over the past 24 hours has not identified any exceedances of applicable air quality limits.
As a precaution, some contractor activity was reduced during portions of the day and night shifts on September 9 while crews continued assessment and mitigation work.
Suncor says appropriate regulators have been notified and it will adjust its response as needed.
