Elk Island National Park will remain closed this weekend as cleanup crews continue to clear storm damage.
Parks Canada has directly contacted all campers with reservations to inform them of the closure.
The entire park was shut down following the July 25 storm, which downed numerous trees and caused significant flooding.
The Wahkotowin Visitor Information Centre remains open, with staff available to assist visitors and provide guidance on exploring the surrounding region.
Another closure due to flooding is the Indigenous Peoples Experience at Fort Edmonton Park. A spokesperson for the park said they are hoping to reopen in the next few days.
The rest of the park remains open.
