A 51-year-old man from Maskwacis is dead after he was struck by a vehicle while lying on a road in Wetaskiwin on Sunday July 19.
RCMP say officers were urgently flagged down to the scene in the area of 56 Street and 50 Avenue shortly after 11 p.m.
The man had been lying on the roadway when he was hit by a passing car. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
No charges are pending, according to RCMP.
