The 31st annual Whyte Avenue Art Walk is taking place in Edmonton from July 10-12. Each day, it will run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The walk takes place through the streets of Old Strathcona and features over 480 artists displaying artwork of everything you can imagine.
Jill Roszell, Producer for the Whyte Avenue Art Walk, tells Raven Radio Network that this will be one of the largest art walks they have done.
Roszell explains that the event not only includes artwork but also local musicians performing and sand-carving demonstrations, which take place at 83 Avenue beside the Old Strathcona Youth Society.
