Cold Lake First Nations to Host Indigenous Celebration Day June 19

Community members and visitors are invited to celebrate culture, community, and Indigenous pride during the Indigenous Celebration Day on June 19. The event will be taking place at the Casino Dene Parking lot and feature cultural activities, entertainment, food, and opportunities to come together in celebration.

Kristen Minoose, Social Media and Marketing with Primco Dene Group of Companies tells the Raven the event will provide various activities, and will kick things off with a pancake breakfast and grand entry.

Minoose adds that the event provides the opportunity to celebrate Indigenous culture while creating a welcoming space for people to learn, connect, and enjoy the day’s festivities.
