Two boys are facing charges after artificial intelligence was used to develop exploitative images of girls at an Edmonton school.
Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams say several students had their photos taken without their consent.
Photos pulled from social media were then used to develop exploitative images with an A-I software.
A teacher at the school reported the images to police in late March after students complained about them.
ALERT says it investigated a similar case in Calgary that led to a charge against a high school student in December.
