Tammy Rae is a Cree singer-songwriter, author, educator, and theatre actress from Whitefish Lake First Nation. She carries the warmth of heartfelt storytelling and the strength of teachings in culture and community.
Tammy’s journey has taken her to New York City, where she performed Off-Broadway in Bear Grease: The Musical, and released her debut EP, Higher, in March 2025.
As an author and language advocate, she is deeply committed to Cree language revitalization, as she has created books and resources that support intergenerational learning and brings the language to life through music and stories.
Alongside her EP, Higher, she has a new song out called, Stay.
