Oiler’s Hockey Star Connor McDavid dropped by Allendale School to raise money for the Ben Stelter Foundation.
McDavid says, ” The foundation means a lot to him by fundraising and bringing awareness for this foundation. Helping out families and kids is everything to him”.
Students across Edmonton Public Schools have raised thousands of dollars as part of the Ben Stelter School Fundraiser.
Thirty-nine Division schools— along with sponsors and other schools in the Edmonton area—raised more than $285,000 for cancer treatment. Division schools raised $153,000 of the total.
As part of the initiative, Allendale School won a draw to welcome Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid.
