An Edmonton daycare has been shutdown after concerns were raised about unsupervised children.
Willowbrae Academy West Point Centre, in the 9000 block of 175 Street N.W., was suspended and placed on a probationary licence after “a number” of non-compliances.
Following the closure, caregivers for the 187 kids attending the daycare were notified in person, with emails being sent out to anyone who couldn’t make the in person announcement.
The license holder has 30 days to request an administrative review, appeal or dispute resolution.
