The National Music Centre of Canada is currently hosting a free concert series in the City of Calgary to promote upcoming Alberta artists.
C-SQUARE is held in the East Village Distract of Calgary and for the third annual concert, two Métis artists including Edmonton artist Electric Religious Bandon Baker.
Electric Religious is the project of Métis singer-songwriter, Brandon Baker, whose guitar-driven music is deeply influenced by the psychedelic sounds of Jimi Hendrix, Baker took his moniker from a Hendrix quote: “When I get up on stage, that’s my whole life. That’s my religion. My music is electric church music. I am electric religion.”
