Community Compassion Walk for Missing and Murdered Indigenous People

Fri May 2, 2025 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM (MDT)

Free

The Community Compassion Walk for Missing and Murdered Indigenous People honours the lives of those who have gone missing or have been murdered, and to raise awareness about the ongoing crisis faced by Indigenous communities.
The walk is an opportunity to come together as a community, show solidarity, and pay tribute to the Indigenous individuals whose stories have not been heard, whose voices have been silenced, and whose families continue to search for justice.
The gathering will begin at 5:30pm, where there will be speakers, including local Indigenous leaders and advocates.
Following a healing ceremony, participants will embark on a 1km walk around the West River’s Edge stock pond, symbolizing our collective journey toward justice, healing, and support.
