One Person is dead following a motorcycle accident that took place over the weekend.
On Saturday evening, at approximately 6:18 p.m. Strathcona County RCMP responded to the report of a serious collision in the area of Highway 16 and Highway 21.
Upon arrival, officers found a motorcycle on the highway. According to witnesses, the motorcycle lost control and the bike flipped.
The man was pronounced dead on scene according to RCMP.
The highway was closed to motorists for several hours while police investigated.
No word on what may have been the cause of the crash.
