Recreation Centres
City of Edmonton Recreation and Leisure Centres will be open this long weekend. Statutory holiday hours are in effect on Friday, Sunday, and Monday. Saturday will have regular operating hours. For detailed hours and admission information, please visit here.
Please note, Jasper Place and Hardisty Leisure Centres are currently closed to the public due to rehabilitation work, as is the ACT Leisure Centre tot pool.
Golf Courses
Get ready to swing into spring – the Victoria Driving Range is open for the season! Hours are currently 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., 7 days a week. Riverside, Rundle and Victoria golf courses will open in the following weeks once the snow melts. For more information, visit: edmonton.ca/golf
Edmonton Valley Zoo
The Edmonton Valley Zoo is in Bloom for the Easter long weekend.
Welcome spring alongside the animal residents while they receive special enrichments. There will be scavenger hunts, games, planting activities, and more. You can also learn about Earth Day and community-based conservation action. Enjoy your Zoo in Bloom!

Muttart Conservatory
Sail into spring at the Birds in Bloom event at the Muttart Conservatory. There will be egg-citing activities for any bunny! Join us for Hula Hoop Circus entertainment, airbrush tattoos, eggs-ploration scavenger hunt, and quack-tastic crafts and sensory play. The Northern Alberta Wood Carvers will also be set- up in the tulip filled feature pyramid.

John Walter Museum
Join in the Free Egg Hunt at the John Walter Museum. Drop by for music, free tours and see how many eggs you can spot! We’re egg-static to share that we’ll be joined by the Edmonton Weavers Guild and by local musician, Gareth Gilliland.

This is also the final weekend for the Alberta Resident Two for One promotion at the Edmonton Valley Zoo and Muttart Conservatory. Simply purchase your admission to either facility and then show your receipt with a piece of valid Alberta identification to receive your free admission to the other facility. Both admissions must be redeemed before the end of day Monday, April 1.
