Update : The heavy polie presence that was advised for Tofield residents has now been lifted according to mounties. A suspect has been arrested and no injuries have been reported.
Earlier this morning on Mar 26, Tofield RCMP advised the public of a heavy police presence in the area of Range Road 201 and Township Road 512 in Lindbrook.
Officers reassured the public that there was no danger to public safety at that time.
Members of the public were asked to avoid the area if possible as travel may have be impeded while the investigation was underway.
