The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) and MS Canada are calling on all of Oil Country to rally together in support of Albertan’s living with MS, through the Oilers 50/50 presented by A&W, on March 19, when the team takes on the Montreal Canadiens at Rogers Place.
MS Canada’s main focus is on providing support, advocacy and conducting research to have a positive impact on the lives of individuals with MS.’
A&W continues to support MS Canada’s vision of a world without MS through the Oilers 50/50 and their Burgers to Beat MS initiative.
“A&W restaurants in the greater Edmonton area are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) for the 3rd consecutive year, in support of A&W Burgers to Beat MS, with funds supporting MS Canada,” said Tina Gibson, VP of Marketing and Communications at Chiro Foods Ltd. o/a A&W in Edmonton. “MS is known as Canada’s disease, and A&W is a Canadian company, so it made sense for the brand to choose MS Canada as our national charity in 2008. August 22nd, 2024 will be our 16th anniversary of Burgers to Beat MS, where $2 from every Teen Burger® sold across Canada will go to supporting Canadians living with MS. At A&W, we are passionate that people matter! This includes doing what is right for the people in our larger community, we believe that small acts make a big difference – and the benefits from the EOCF game day 50/50 make such a tremendous difference in our local fundraising each year! We are extremely grateful to all of the Oilers fans, the Edmonton community and all Albertans that support the game day 50/50 on March 19th – you are all helping to make a positive difference in the lives of people in our community that live with MS.“
The Oilers 50/50 multi-day raffle will start on March 17 and run until March 30 at 11:00 PM, with the jackpot building each day.
50/50 tickets can be purchased at EdmontonOilers.com/5050
