The Annual Augustana Round Dance takes place tonight at 5 PM inside the Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta, where many will celebrate the revitalization of wahkohtowin Lodge and honour Elder John Crier as our Distinguished Alumni Award recipient.
Willow White, professor at the University of Alberta Augustana Campus spoke with Windspeaker Radio Network as she’s excited for tonight’s ceremonial gathering.
White hopes that people feel uplifted after they leave the round dance ceremony.
