According to police, on Oct. 23 Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to the complaint of a pick up truck being struck by a lone bullet.
The vehicle was travelling southbound on Highway 63 near the bottom of Supertest hill when at around 3:45 pm, the driver heard a loud bang.
Upon closer inspection of the vehicle, a bullet hole was found in the front hood of the truck. Following the police investigation, it is believed that it was likely due to the careless discharge of a hunting rifle in the area.
