Dennis Allen is at kihêw waciston today for the screening of his film, “My Father, My Teacher”. The multi-disciplinary artist originally from the frontier town of Inuvik, Northwest Territories, will be present for the screening and then do a Q&A aftewards about the film. He joined me to tell me a little bit about why he made it and what he’s hoping the audience will get from it:

MY FATHER, MY TEACHER is an eloquent reflection of the bonds and tensions faced by all families. It is also an extraordinary look at the handing down of a precious family legacy from a father to his son.
