Cheryl’s Run in support of Awasisak Indigenous Health program at the Stollery, held at Laurier Park

89.3 the Raven was on location Saturday for the Annual Cheryls Run at Laurier Park.

The event is in support of The Awasisak Indigenous Health program at the Stollery Children’s Hospital.

The fundraiser included a 10K Run, 5K Run, 5K Walk, and Kids Fun Run for kids up to 12 years of age. The fun run course for kids includes fun obstacles!

Recently run organizer Norma Kennedy and Mike Sutherland, the team lead at the Stollery Awasisak program joined Windspeaker Radio Network to talk about the run.
