Windspeaker Media with country music stations CFWE North, CJWE South, 89.3 The Raven (everything but country) and CUZIN Radio (Indigenous Country, Rock, Powwow) announces Red Beats Radio, available at redbeats.ca or via the Windspeaker Radio Network App and on the Apple or Google Play App Stores.
Red Beats is a 24/7 Indigenous HipHop station with DJ’s across Canada hosting different time slots.
According to the Founder & CEO of Windspeaker Media Bert Crowfoot, When 89.3 the Raven launched in 2021, a call was put out for Indigenous music, with hundreds of artists submitting their HipHop, however with a limited schedule on traditional FM Radio, they were not able to play all of it, “and that’s how Red Beats was created”
The station is building excitement across Canada, as Red Beats recently signed on as a media sponsor for Circles Festival, billed as “The largest Indigenous music and arts festival in North America” taking place in Vancouver August 26.
