The BC Lions are headed to Commonwealth Stadium after a 33-26 win against Saskatchewan in Saturday’s West Division Semi-Final.
They’ll face the Edmonton Elks in the Western Final on Saturday, Nov. 7, with kickoff set for 5:30 p.m. MT at Play Alberta Field.
The winner advances to the 113th Grey Cup in Calgary.
The two clubs split their regular-season meetings 1-1, though they haven’t faced each other since Edmonton’s narrow 17-15 victory on July 17 at Commonwealth.
The last time the Elks hosted a home playoff game, they defeated the Calgary Stampeders 45-31 in the 2015 Western Division Final in front of 34,414 fans and went on to claim their 14th Grey Cup title with a 26-20 win over the Ottawa REDBLACKS.
