The Saddle Lake Cree Nation’s Market and Open Mic is set to be hosted inside the Complex Arena on August 2nd.
Taleah Jackson, case manager at the Saddle Lake Social Development and organizer of the market and open mic tells CFWE about what people can expect at the event.
Jackson speaks on her experiences at the markets in Saddle Lake growing up, as she says that it’s nice to see community members come together and support one another in a positive way.
Jackson says she enjoys seeing community members connecting with their families after a long period of time at the market.
