The Edmonton Public Library is inviting anyone who’s ever wanted to solve a haunted mystery inside a real library to step into the story.
On Saturday October 24, the Stanley A. Milner Library will host Locked Library: Ghost Stories.
Participants will receive exclusive after-hours access and take on the role of paranormal investigators as they navigate the darkened building.
The last mystery ran in July, and according to EPL fund development manager Ryan Drury, it completely sold out, raising nearly $20,000 for the library’s programs.
“Instead of attending a traditional fundraiser, they’re stepping into the adventure story themselves. We’re thrilled to offer more accessible fundraising events to Edmonton,” he said.
All proceeds from this event helps support the work of EPL with proceeds being reinvested into their collections, programs, and services for the community.
