Edmonton police are investigating the suspicious death of a 16-year-old girl following a shooting early Sunday morning near 139 Avenue and 32 Street.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area shortly before 7 a.m. and found the teen seriously injured.
Police administered first aid at the scene, but the girl was pronounced dead after EMS arrived.
The EPS Homicide Section is leading the investigation and is treating the death as suspicious.
