The Edmonton Folk Music Festival runs August 6 to 9 at Gallagher Park. The City of Edmonton encourages residents to use Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) for convenient access to the festival. During this time, there will be increased service on the Valley Line Southeast LRT.
Festival-goers can take the Valley Line to Muttart Stop to reach the bottom of the hill, or to Strathearn Stop to reach the top.
- From 6:30 p.m. until end of service on Thursday, August 6, Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8.
- From 2:30 p.m. until end of service on Sunday, August 9.
Festival attendees can park for free and take the Valley Line from the Davies Station Park & Ride. Additionally, free parking is available at Clareview, Belvedere, and Stadium stations along the Capital Line. Riders can transfer to the Valley Line at Churchill Station.
Regular fares apply for bus and LRT service. Children 12 and under ride free when accompanied by a fare-paying passenger.
