Creating Hope Society and the City of Fort Saskatchewan are set to host the National Indigenous History Month Medicine Walk on June 4th at the Fort Saskatchewan River Valley from 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Tanya Hogan, Cultural Support Worker with Creating Hope Society spoke with the Raven Radio Network on the importance of the walk, as medicine teachings are in the backyards of the community, and passing on the knowledge to the younger generations is important, with the walk providing that opportunity to many.
