The Otipemisiwak Métis Government has announced its Kitchen Party Tour, kicking off May 19 and running through July 26 with toe-tapping fiddle music, youth activities, door prizes and more.
Madame President of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government Andrea Sandmaier spoke with the Raven Radio Network on the various stops the tour will make, which include Edmonton, High River, Fort Chipewyan, St. Albert, St. Paul Des Métis, Conklin, Lac La Biche, Grande Prairie, Peace River, Fort Vermillion, Medicine Hat, Airdrie, Rocky Mountain House, Hinton, and Whitecourt.
President Sandmaier speaks on the excitement of the tour, as it will allow the Métis tradition bring community together for storytelling, music, dancing and the celebration of the Métis culture.
