The Rapid Fire Theatre is kicking off its Bonfire Improv Festival, bringing together top improvisers in Edmonton with new show ideas and improv troupes. Running through April 11, the festival promises a lineup of high-energy performances, and late-night shows, celebrating the art of unscripted comedy in the heart of Edmonton.
Kelly Turner, Improviser with Rapid Fire Theatre, shares with Raven Radio Network the excitement for the festival’s dynamic lineup that will feature 13 shows with fresh, originals being introduced to audiences in Edmonton.
Turner highlights an Indigenous perspective in improv storytelling, sharing unique styles of comedy, and sharing the beauty of laughter in a room together through improv.
