A 4.5 magnitude earthquake struck central Alberta on Wednesday evening.
The quake was recorded by Earthquakes Canada about 18 kilometres northeast of Morinville, or 42 kilometres north of Edmonton, just before 5:30 p.m.
Reports on Earthquakes Canada said the event was “Lightly felt in Gibbons, Legal, Bon Accord & Edmonton”
No damage was reported.
