Daniel Barker-Tremblay, a proud Metis local from Lac La Biche is a News Reporter and on-air host for the Windspeaker Radio Network,  sharing stories, and community voices over 3 plus years across CFWE, 89.3 The Raven, and CJWE.

Known for his warm presence, engaging interviews, and passion for storytelling, Daniel connects listeners across Alberta’s Indigenous and rural communities with authentically and heart.

Throughout his time with the Network, Daniel has built a reputation for highlighting local events, amplifying Indigenous voices, and celebrating the people who make their communities thrive. His work embodies the spirit of connection that drives Windspeaker Radio Network –  uniting listeners through shared stories, culture, and conversation.

When not on the air or traveling up and down the roads across the province, Daniel can be seen emceeing several events, being involved within the improv community, and spending time with loved ones.
