Two-time JUNO Award-winning Oji-Cree artist Aysanabee is quickly rising in music circles around the world and this fall he’s bringing his music coast to coast.
Following the release of his sophomore album Edge Of The Earth on June 20, 2025, Aysanabee will kick off his “The Way We’re Born Tour“ on November 6 in Edmonton.
The tour features more than 20 dates across Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, and Ontario.
Stops in Alberta include the tour opener in Edmonton along with visits to Fort Saskatchewan, Red Deer, Banff and Calgary.
In a move that reflects his commitment to community, Aysanabee will again feature local Indigenous musicians as openers.
“I had the best time featuring and connecting with local Indigenous artists on the first leg of my headlining tour this past winter, and I couldn’t wait to do it again for this next run. This time, we’re showcasing even more incredible Indigenous talent from across the country. Fans are in for a real treat,” Aysanabee said in a press release.
This next leg of his first-ever Canadian headlining tour follows a summer filled with festivals, international stops in Australia and Taiwan, and appearances at major international festivals such as Riddu Riddu in Norway and Nürnberg Pop Festival in Germany.
Darrell Stranger spoke with Aysanabee to talk about the busy summer, how excited Aysanabee is for this upcoming tour and if he will pause for a break after being hard at work for so long.
