
The Edmonton Food Bank provides food for about 40,000 people each month through their hamper programs and over 450,000 meals and snacks monthly through partner soup kitchens, shelters, schools, and other community groups.
This Thanksgiving, they are expecting to once again serve a number of families and have been preparing months in advance for the holiday season.
Darrell Stranger spoke with Tamisan Bencz-Knight, the Edmonton Food Bank’s Manager of Strategic Relationships & Partnerships about the holiday season, how they are preparing, and ways the community can help outside of donating food.
