
Thousands of Indigenous people from across North America will come together in Edmonton this weekend for the National Indigenous Cultural Expo.
Canada’s largest powwow, Métis festival and Inuit showcase will fill the halls of the Edmonton Expo Centre Oct 3-5.
Indigenous food, music and dancing will be showcased throughout the weekend including a sold out vendor market with close to 150 vendors.
Darrell Stranger spoke with Judy Kim-Meneen, the executive director of the Expo and she explained the importance of the event, and how it is open to everyone.
