Two vehicles pulled into sinkhole in Leduc parking lot

A sinkhole in Leduc nearly swallowed up two vehicles on Thursday.

The sinkhole opened up in the parking lot of the MacEwan Greens apartment building in the Deer Valley neighborhood.

Photos circulating on social media showed two vehicles half-fallen into the hole.

The City of Leduc says it is not aware of any injuries that resulted from the sinkhole.

The city said as a private development, the infrastructure under the parking lot was not installed or owned by Leduc.
