
The Edmonton Police Service is looking for additional complainants after two youths were charged for throwing rocks at vehicles.
On Friday, July 25 at approximately 4 p.m., police responded to the area of Grierson Hill and the 100 Street Funicular for reports of individuals throwing objects off a pedestrian bridge and into oncoming traffic.
A driver whose windshield was smashed, stopped and got out of their vehicle, and detained two youth until police arrived.
A 14-year-old male and a 13-year-old female were arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and mischief.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this or had their vehicle hit during this incident on Grierson Hill between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on July 25, 2025, to please contact them immediately.
