Parkland RCMP responded just before 5 p.m. Thursday to a report of a serious vehicle collision at the intersection of Jennifer Heil Way and Tri Leisure Way in Spruce Grove, police said in a news release. When officers arrived, they found a 40-year-old Edmonton man dead at the scene.
A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with two other vehicles in Spruce Grove on Thursday afternoon
Police say a motorcycle was driving north on Jennifer Heil Way when it rear-ended a stopped GMC vehicle. The motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle and hit the trailer of a third vehicle.
The occupants of the other two vehicles were uninjured.
Mounties remained on scene for several hours while investigating the collision.
