
In the early morning hours of May 20, Drayton Valley RCMP responded to a collision on Highway 22 south of Drayton Valley.
Two vehicles had been travelling eastbound when they collided and one rolled over into the ditch.
The driver of the vehicle in the ditch was extracted by Drayton Valley Fire Services and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
RCMP said the collision was due to a “road rage” incident, resulting in the arrest of the driver of the other vehicle.
No other individuals were involved in the incident.
Drayton Valley resident Kevin Hornle, 55, was charged with dangerous operation causing bodily harm and aggravated assault.
He was brought before a justice of the peace and released on conditions. He is to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Drayton Valley on June 17.
