The Indigenous Child and Wellness Conference (ICWC) launches at the Edmonton Expo Centre from April 15 to 17, bringing together professionals, community leaders, and advocates from across Canada. Centered on the theme ‘Empowering Indigenous Voices’, the three-day event will feature inspiring keynote speakers, engaging breakout sessions, and vibrant cultural performances — all focused on Indigenous child and family services. The conference aims to foster learning, connection, and celebration of the strength and resilience within Indigenous communities.
Karen McCarthy, owner of Inspire Group Companies, spoke with 89.3 The Raven, as she shared her excitement about welcoming attendees from provinces nationwide, highlighting the importance of collaboration and shared knowledge in driving positive change.
