The town of Devon is set to mark a major milestone achievement this weekend.
Devon will be celebrating their 75th anniversary this weekend at the town’s community centre.
From 1:00 to 3:30 PM Saturday February 22nd free games and food available on a first come first served basis will be part of the birthday bash celebration.
This is just one of a few events planned to celebrate the milestone according to Mayor Jeff Craddock and he said the excitement for the celebration is high.
Mayor Craddock added this will be one of many celebrations marking the achievement, with more events including a gala and block party.
