The union that represents Edmonton Public School Board support staff is meeting today with the EPSB as the two parties head back to the bargaining table according to the Local 3550.
However the Local CUPE 4625, which represents Sturgeon Public School Division workers was not invited to negotiate according to a union spokesperson.
On Jan. 13, more than 3,000 support staff members walked off the job and have been striking ever since.
According to CUPE Local 3550 president Mandy Lameroux, they are not asking for a lot, and only enough to not have to hold a second job or not have to visit a food bank.
More details to come on the negotiations as they become available.
