With no end in sight to the postal strike, the YMCA of Northern Alberta and The Creative Hive are rallying together to support the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton – and ensure clients get their Food Program gift cards and Adopt-A-Teen gift cards delivered on time.
Clients who have been approved for holiday services will be contacted via email and phone call.
Distribution of the gift cards will take place between 12:30 pm to 8:00 pm at several YMCA Edmonton locations and The Creative Hive from December 17 – 20, who have graciously granted their space to the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton and Intake team.
In addition to over 10,000 gift cards being delivered and distributed next week, the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton will also be coordinating and packing over 1800 food hampers scheduled for delivery on December 21 with over 300 volunteer drivers to deliver festive food hampers before December 25.
The Christmas Bureau of Edmonton, bringing joy to the table for Edmontonians in need for 82 years.
