Wood Buffalo RCMP are investigating two separate break-and-enters that occurred on Sept. 7, 2024, south of Fort McMurray near Highway 881.
The first break and enter occurred 76 km south of Fort McMurray, between 2 am and 6:40 am at a work site. A trailer and sea can were broken into. Several items were stolen including computer monitors and printers, a generator, and a chainsaw. Additionally, a 2013 Polaris Razor 800 and a bright green 1985 Suzuki Samurai were also stolen from the property.
The second break and enter occurred approximately 128 km south of Fort McMurray, between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. A 2024 Chevrolet Silverado was broken into and personal items were taken. A red 2023 Honda TRX 520 ATV, with a sticker bearing “Unit 4066” was also stolen from the site.
Wood Buffalo RCMP continues to investigate these incidents.
