Since 2008, A&W has partnered with MS Canada for ‘Burgers to Beat MS Day’. $2 from every Teen Burger sold will go to support Canadians living with MS.
Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world. Its effects can be profound and often unpredictable. Pam Valentine is the CEO of the MS Society of Canada and says when this started 16 years ago, not much was known of the disease however thanks to the work they’ve done with A&W they’ve seen incredible strides.
Patricia Rzechowka is an MS Ambassador and was on site for the Burgers to Beat MS Day celebration. She mentioned her diagnosis back in 2012 and was grateful to see the work that’s been put into finding cures and more information on MS.
Tina Gibson is with A&W Canada and mentioned how the Edmonton area is one of the largest contributors to Burgers to Beat MS Day.
