Samson Cree Nation celebrated the grand opening of its Head Start program trailers, marking a milestone in early childhood learning and family support. The opening ceremony brought together community members, leadership and staff, with prayers and an honour song recognizing the importance of the occasion.
Head Start Program Manager Jaime Buffalo’s dedication and work in bringing the project to life were also recognized. Chief Isiah Swampy-Omeasoo announced a 10-thousand-dollar contribution from the Nation to support the program and participating families.
