The Edmonton Oilers, NHL and Fanatics have unveiled the team’s new Hometown Remix uniform, a special-edition design celebrating Edmonton’s fans, culture and identity.
Part of a league-wide initiative featuring all 32 NHL clubs, the Hometown Remix collection was developed in collaboration with Fanatics, the NHL’s on-ice uniform provider. The launch marks the culmination of a two-year design and development process.
The Oilers will wear their Hometown Remix uniforms seven times during the 2026-27 season, beginning November 5 against the Anaheim Ducks at Rogers Place.
Each uniform in the collection was designed to reflect its respective city and fanbase, incorporating local landmarks, cultural influences and recognizable design elements to create a look unique to each team.
For Edmonton, the Hometown Remix jersey features a sleek black design inspired by the city’s oil industry, offering a distinctive new look for the Oilers.
“Hometown Remix represents the most exciting initiative our team has designed and delivered with our partners since we hit the ice with the NHL in 2024,” said Dom Fillion, vice-president of creative design for Fanatics.
“What makes this program so special is the collaboration with each club and together leaning into the history, culture, fabric and identity of every city and fan base to make sure these felt as authentic and personal as possible. We can’t wait to see them worn by the teams on the ice and the fans in the stands all season long.”
Following the November 5 debut, the Oilers will wear the alternate uniforms six additional times throughout the season, with two appearances scheduled in December, two in January and two in March.
