Four-time JUNO Award-winning Oji-Cree artist Aysanabee has not stopped his momentum within the music scene.
He took home two more JUNOS this year, Alternative Album of The Year & Contemporary Indigenous Artist or Group of The Year and shared his reflection on the success of his awards in a short period of time, saying that it felt pretty surreal to be chosen for the categories.
He celebrates multiple award-winning albums with his new acoustic EP “Timelines,” which releases April 10th. His Timelines Tour has already kicked off with a sold-out Canmore show being the first stop.
The tour will have 16 stops which include Alberta, Ontario, British Columbia and The Northwest Territories in Canada.
Stops in Alberta include the tour opener in Canmore along with visits to Calgary and Sherwood Park.
Aysanabee spoke with Katlin Whitehawk about the JUNO awards, His new EP and the Timelines tour.
